Indian Journal of Fundamental and Applied Life Sciences

The Indian Journal of Fundamental and Applied Life Sciences (JLS) is an open access online international journal that provides online publication of original research work, review and views in all areas of life sciences from all over the world. The Journal (JLS) is being published by Centre for Info Bio Technology (CIBTech) (Regd. No. SH/311R/2-16AP/42/09) with an objective to promote quality and affordable publication of research work fulfilling the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. All the articles published in JLS are rigorously peer-reviewed. The Journal was initially published quarterly (four numbers per year) and biannually in 2020 and annually since 2021

Indexing: The Journal is indexed  in Index Copernicus. The impact factor has been used for assessing the quality of journals. Electronic editions of scientific journals and the rapid spread of scientific information modifies the pattern of bibliographic citations, and thus affect the impact factor. Even a decade ago it was proved that the presence of an electronic version of the journal circulated via Internet is associated with the impact factor score (Curti et al., 2001. Therefore it will be our prime objective to circulate the journal far and wide, globally, so that the authors could get benefited from its impact factor score.  

Aim and Scope of the Journal: Aim and Scope of the Journal: The aim of the Journal is to provide a platform for the researchers and academicians throughout the world to speedily publish, share and discuss various new findings and developments in the areas of Life Sciences. Articles can be submitted from any aspect of animal sciences, bio-resources and bioprocessing, plant sciences, medical and veterinary sciences such as, anatomy, ayurveda, biochemistry, biogeography, bioinformatics, bionanotechnology, biophysics, biotechnology, cardiology, clinical biology, dentistry, pathology, developmental biology, ecology, endocrinology, entomology, ethology, evolutionary biology, general surgery, genetics, medical biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, morphology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery,  obstetrics & gynaecology, oncology, ornithology, orthopaedics, otorhinolaryngology, palaeontology, petroleum and bio-energy, pharmacology, physiology, phytogeography, population genetics, psychiatry, psychology, reproductive biology, rheumatology, soil science, surgery, surgical oncology, taxonomy and so on.

Types of Papers:

General article: Covering current trends in research in life sciences but may be interesting to general readers outside the field.

Addendum: It includes article giving additional information on earlier published research paper of the author

Research article: Covering research work of scientific excellence.

Review article: Focusing on current advancements in the given field.

Short communication: Containing important, interesting and novel findings. 

Case report: It includes case reports in all areas of life sciences.

Research account: Personalized review articles on the research work carried at the author(s) laboratory, based on the published work of the author(s). 

Historical note: Includes famous scientific personalities or institutions or events of the past.

Opinion: Views on scientific activity.

Book reviews: On reference books published in basic or applied aspect.
